This too shall pass. Many of us are struggling. Emotions are overflowing in us such as Fear, Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Sadness, Loneliness, Confusion … I am sure you can add many more to this list. Let’s not give in to these though.
Fears are developed through negative experiences. While what is happening around us is not the best of situations, there are positive things happening. We have the joy of being quarantined with our families. We can talk, laugh, play games, and spend more quality time together. It has allowed us to remember what is important.
We must not be fearful though. Sure it is hard. There are many who are having a very difficult time. Businesses are struggling. We are in that same position, but I won’t give into Fear.
Choose to say …
- Fear is an illusion in the mind, and I know I can overcome it.
- I refuse to listen to the inner voice that tells me to be afraid.
- I have the power to stop fear before it takes over.
- My mind is strong.
- I choose not to let any unnecessary stress control me.
- Fear and anxiety limit me and I achieve my greatest potential when I have a clear mind.
Now more than ever, we need to embrace and support one another and our communities.
Stacy London said,
“Don’t let fear or insecurity stop you from trying new things. Believe in yourself. Do what you love. And most importantly, be kind to others, even if you don’t like them.”
